About Brevo

Brevo is a marketing automation and customer relationship management platform used by more than 500,000 businesses. With a domain rating of 91, it is one of the strongest websites in its market.

At this level, the risk is not being unknown. It is slowly losing authority as old links disappear, while competitors fight for the same high-value searches, such as “best email marketing services” and “cheap email marketing”. Brevo needed links that strengthened specific product pages, not more links in general.

Goals

The campaign focused on quality and on protecting the rankings that bring in revenue, not on short-term traffic.

  • Protect top rankings: strengthen the comparison pages that bring in visitors ready to buy, such as Brevo’s guide to the best email marketing services.
  • Hold domain rating at 91: replace links the site loses over time with new, high-authority links.
  • Match specific searches: build relevance for price and feature searches, such as “cheapest email marketing” and “CRM for small business”.
  • Use only reputable websites: take links only from business, software and marketing publications that match Brevo’s standing.

Strategy

Sentosa sent links to the pages that matter most for revenue, not to the homepage.

  • Comparison pages. Many of the 23 links pointed to Brevo’s guide to the best email marketing services. We secured places in “top tools” lists on well-known software and marketing websites, which told Google that Brevo is a leading email marketing platform.
  • Price-focused searches. To reach small businesses, we built links to Brevo’s guide to cheap email marketing, using anchor text such as “cheapest email marketing platforms”, placed in small business guides.
  • Customer relationship management. Brevo is more than email. We built links to its customer relationship management pages, such as its guide to software for small businesses, from business growth blogs.
  • Strong software websites. The campaign used established software companies’ websites, not guest post networks, so the links carried real trust.

Results

Brevo held its authority at the top of its market while competitors fought for the same searches.

  • 23 high-authority links secured. All were followed links on relevant websites with real traffic.
  • Referring domains up 7%, from 63,668 to 68,111. About 4,400 more websites linked to Brevo by the end of the campaign.
  • Domain rating held at 91. Brevo kept one of the highest domain ratings in marketing software throughout the campaign.

Conclusion

Market leaders cannot stand still. By regularly adding new, relevant links to its most valuable pages, Sentosa helped Brevo keep its authority and its place among the leaders in marketing automation.

Summary

For large brands, link building is about protecting what they have, not only growing. Regular, high-quality links to the pages that bring in revenue keep a strong site strong.

  • Key lesson: at the top of a market, send links to the pages that earn money, and replace lost links before rankings slip.
  • Impact: 23 high-authority links, referring domains up 7% and domain rating held at 91.
