Overview
We helped WBI Warm increase its domain rating from 3 to 61 points in 24 months, from October 2024 to September 2026, turning organic search into a sustainable inbound lead channel.
WBI Warm (Warm Brothers Inc.) has been a trusted name in the US insulation and heating market since 2000. Despite long-standing credibility, they lacked a structured organic strategy and relied on traditional marketing, referrals and pay per click advertising. They partnered with Sentosa to build a digital growth engine.
Campaign strategy
A disciplined monthly cadence of high domain rating links, placed on contextually relevant, authoritative sites: 5 a month from October 2024, 10 from April 2025 and 15 from June 2026.
Our task was to build a search strategy for B2B manufacturing that would not just improve rankings but also translate into meaningful business growth. When the work started, the website had a domain rating of 3 and fewer than 100 monthly organic visits. We ran a steady link building cadence focused on contextual relevance, backed by on-page optimisation and search strategy.
Campaign results
Our milestone-driven strategy produced measurable results in a short period of time.
The site attracted a highly targeted US audience searching for insulation solutions, and reached first-page rankings for several high-intent keywords that drove both traffic and conversions.

Strategy
We put in place a thorough search plan for B2B manufacturing to improve WBI Warm’s online visibility, with an emphasis on link building, technical optimisation and site migration.
Strategic link building: raising domain authority
WBI Warm started with a domain rating of 3, so building a strong backlink profile came first.
- Building high-quality links every month, 5 a month at first, 10 from April 2025 and 15 from June 2026, with careful attention to relevance and anchor text.
- Selecting authoritative domains that matched WBI Warm’s insulation and heating niche.
- Using WBI’s other brand websites to send more links towards wbiwarm.com.
- Removing irrelevant outbound links to keep link value on the site.
- Reaching a domain rating of 36 in under four months, which strengthened the brand’s standing in search.
Website migration and consolidation: one digital presence
One of the biggest problems was a fragmented structure spread across three domains. We ran a full domain migration to bring the content into one site.
- Analysed 71 URLs to decide which to migrate, based on clicks, content depth and relevance.
- Set up 301 redirects to keep link value through the move.
- Removed outdated URLs and relaunched the content on one core domain, wbiwarm.com.
- Improved the header and footer menus for clearer navigation.
- The two secondary domains stay live and now generate leads through pay per click advertising.
Technical search engine optimisation
Alongside link building and the migration, we brought the site’s technical health to a 99% error-free score.
- Ran a detailed site audit to fix broken links, slow pages and indexing problems.
- Improved on-page optimisation for sharper keyword relevance.
- Refined the site structure so search engines could crawl and index it efficiently.
- Improved mobile usability and page load times for a better user experience and rankings.
- Reached an audit health score with 99% of URLs error-free.
On-page improvements
Tuned every page element to match B2B manufacturing search intent.
- Optimised meta titles, descriptions and headings with target keywords.
- Added structured data to improve visibility and click-through rate in search results.
- Used internal links to spread link value across priority pages.
Tracking and continuous improvement
Data-led changes across the whole campaign.
- Used Google Analytics, Ahrefs and Google Search Console to track traffic, rankings and user behaviour.
- Reviewed the data regularly to refine the strategy and act on new opportunities.
Conclusion
The WBI Warm campaign shows what a steady, disciplined link building cadence can do for a B2B manufacturing brand. From a domain rating of 3 to 61 in 24 months, WBI Warm built a lasting source of organic leads, without volume spikes, without private blog networks and without shortcuts.
